Rosie de Weerd

R.A. de Weerd, LL.M. (1982), graduated in April 2005 at the University of Amsterdam in Private law. In the graduation stage of her studies she mainly focused on trade law and information law. She carried out research into the advertising and financing practices of the television world for some time for the purpose of her final dissertation on the sponsorship of television programmes. In July 2003, Rosie started to work for Pesman Advocaten in Alkmaar as a legal assistant. In December 2005 she was sworn in as a lawyer. She works in the general legal practice. Rosie is appointed as a manager in statutory debt-restructuring schemes for natural persons. She is part of the Insolvency & Collection procedures section. Since 2006, Rosie has been affiliated with the Jonge Balie in the Alkmaar district as a treasurer. She is also a delegate at the Jonge Balie Nederland organisation of the Jonge Balie in Alkmaar.
